The communications center located at Conroe Police Department is one of two Primary Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP) within the County.  The other is located at Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Citizens who call 9-1-1 for any emergency service (Law Enforcement, Fire or EMS) are routed to one of these two centers; then directed to the appropriate discipline. Conroe Police Department answers 9-1-1 emergency calls and dispatches local law enforcement within the city limits of Conroe.
